Schedule Template is a document management tool for enforcing a standard layout, design and content of schedules. It provides standardization tools and controls to ensure that a given schedule is designed and used as required and prescribed by a respective template. Schedule templates allow making pre-formatted schedule patterns and layouts, so that a person using a schedule template will not have to spend additional time on developing schedule design and content.
The greatest advantage of using templates in scheduling is that an employee can use a calendar template to break workdays down into working hours and shifts and then plan tasks to be done within the scheduled period. This employee has no need to do these scheduling steps again when planning for next workdays because the developed template already includes all items necessary for time allocation.
Schedule templates are created and modified by using software solutions featuring time scheduling functionality (for example, MS Outlook or VIP Task Manager). Users are enabled to create customized schedule designs, duplicate schedule content, and share templates.
