As far as different companies need to handle different kinds of projects (according to their industrial and business specificity) they can use absolutely different project management standards that fit their specific needs. In other words it is completely normal that specialists working, for example, in pharmacy use their special standards and measurements that cannot be applied to projects that belong to construction, mining, aerospace, software development, or any other area which is far enough from producing medicaments.
