Task Analytics Report is a special document that contains analytical information about tasks. There are many kinds of task analytics reports; some of the reports are listed below:
- Velocity report
- Performance report
- Workload report
- Activity report
Velocity report documents productivity level reached upon completion of tasks over a fixed time period. It shows the speed of task performance and confirms/rejects schedule efficiency. For example: a monthly velocity report on sales activities shows sales employees’ productivity in terms of the products they’ve sold over the reporting period.
Performance report gives a detailed statement of measures that describe the results of some task in terms of its success for a specific time-frame. For instance: a weekly report on task performance states about success of activities and tells whether these activities are done within the reporting week.
Workload report explores the number of tasks and activities an employee has performed over a certain period. It also explains whether this employee is productive and skilled enough to perform the assigned job. For example: a daily workload report states about the number of daily tasks a worker has done and also about performance level that the worker has reached as the result of applying his/her skills and abilities.
