HR Dashboard is a visual representation of HR (Human Resources) metrics on a single computer screen for employee performance analysis and decision making. It is a central control panel that gathers and displays critical information about employees and their behaviors in a department or entire company. HR dashboards are often available as built-in modules in a kind of software that features functionality for employee management.
Managers use HR dashboards to monitor various employee-related metrics relatively quickly and at a reasonably high level. All the metrics are usually classified into several groups in order to make HR dashboard data much readable and useful for quick analysis and decision making. The groups are as follows:
- Productivity metrics for measuring the amount of work every employee accomplishes within a specific period
- Efficiency metrics for determining whether a worker shows a desired productivity level with minimized use of resources
- Training metrics for qualifying employees’ success with reference to training programs they have taken
- Goal metrics for evaluating status of individual performance goals and measuring personal success of every staff members.
