Project Intelligence is a special ability of the project managers (supported by specific methods) to:
- Derive complex knowledge about their projects (statistics, analytical conclusions, etc);
- Learn from what is happening around the projects (identifying trends, upcoming problems, etc);
- Interact with project environment profoundly and objectively (anticipating potential effects);
- Manage and predict a variety of impactful events, factors, effects and consequences;
- Prevent potential problems and avoid making wrong decisions;
Project Intelligence makes the project managers to feel more safe and confident with their projects in a changeable environment that generates contingencies and challenges for the project team. In other words this ability includes use of any tools and methods that help the project managers to:
- Model, trace and assess the potential effects and consequences from decisions they make;
- Improve knowledge management as well as the ability to acquire new information;
- Identify and analyze the problems early, as well as to seek efficient resolutions to them;
- Improve ability to analyze and judge the features of the current project situation;
- Increase adaptability to a new environment or to changes in the current environment;
- Comprehend cause-effect relationships in a diversity of events happening around;
