What is Task Scheduling

Task Scheduling is a practice of recording a task on the schedule – defining its time allocation and other features, such as recurrence pattern. Especially meaningful this term appears when referred to software systems that are used for task and time planning of people, business, and IT transactions. Since time is a valuable business resource it should be allocated very carefully, and it becomes even more valued when you deal with limited capacity of other business resources – all this puts serious planning requirements upon shoulders of managers. To lighten work of people who are in charge of whether business or technical planning a great number of computer applications were created – they can highlight unloaded resources and unallocated time, support workloads modeling, caution about resource conflicts, etc.
