What is project scenario? This is a vision of your project in action. Making project scenarios can help you to anticipate possible problems and decide how to avoid or solve them. Your project scenario will help you to visualize running of your project to define what may happen during actual project performance. It lets you to foresee how project resources will be used, clarify how your team will work together to implement the project, to disclose bottlenecks and to think of different project aspects from other positions. It is advisable to create several different scenarios for one project, so you can experience several different variants of project developments. In order to prepare project scenarios you should have your project plan that is a basic thing for creating a scenario.
Actually you (and your teammates) should run several times through project plan in order to envision how you will perform this in practise. You should write down scenario and consider each step of your plan to decide what difficulties you may face and if everything what you have to do is feasible. As a result of project scenarios creating you will see a lot of bottlenecks and problems, so you will have a background to optimize your project plan until it is acceptable.
