Project initiation planning

Project initiation definition: it is a process of finalization of all the things that are required to put a project into practice. The point is to prove its necessity, expediency, feasibility and attainability within constraints of allocated resources. Project initiation planning process includes forming up a project initiation workshop which may engage all the major project administrators and managers who will thoroughly analyze and discuss content and correctness of the documents that are necessary to start a project practically – the project charter, project plan, project team, etc. Project initiation and development are going through several rounds of workshop meetings where its members deliberate and decide if all the initial documents meet certain project requirements (if they are full, correct, credible, clear, etc), or something requires to be completed or re-done yet. When the workshop verifies the package it produces the project initiation report which can be addressed to the project’s stakeholders who will finally close the chapter on initiation planning.
