Project management summary is a shortened representation of information on a project. It shows basic project characteristics, such as project vision, project goals, and project resources (time, money and people). Project management summary is also a tool for summarizing projects and stating the project baseline.
You can use a summary to 1) plan your project at the initiation stage or 2) close the project by creating a report at the project’s end. VIP Task manager will let you use executive summary in both ways.
VIP Task Manager is a PM program. In Task Tree view of the program you can use templates and checklists to plan your project by phases. Once your project is planned you can use Task Tree view to export current view to MS Excel sheets and HTML files. The exported project view will be a PM resume created at the initiation stage.
VIP Task Manager features a reporting tool to build project management summary reports. Such reports can be created in both RTF and HTML formats.
- Go to Task Tree view to plan your project and create project management summary templates.
- Use the option “Export view to Excel/HTML” to export your current project view to Excel/HTML file.
- Use Report Builder to create reports on your project management summary.
