Employee daily task report represents how well the employee performs assigned job throughout workloads delegated to him/her by managers. Such reports can be formulated in different terms, with different level of details, and they are important for managers to identify and update the working progress picture over the managed projects, and therefore regular work reports should be quite accurate, clear and profound, so data management requirements of supervisors can be fully satisfied.
In order to avoid any kind of misconception, to reach good level of accuracy and obtain adequate explanation, daily reports are regulated by certain procedures, including report template with appropriate fields (essential work performance indicators) to be filled-in by the employees and to be read by their managers.
The channels to deliver report are a traditional one (standard paper-based sheets and forms to be physically transported from employees to managers, or transferred by fax), or a more advanced one requiring use of special software with a powerful set of embedded reporting tools, such as one represented below:
