Employee burnout is a negative factor that forces any organization to decreased productivity and fallen profits. A highly motivated, productive and energetic employee is a true asset that leads the organization to the growth and flourishing. Such an employee is ready to take on extra responsibilities and do more jobs. However, what makes energetic and eager employees to burn out, and so to become burnt out workers? There are some major signs each manager should take into consideration to prevent employee burnout. The signs are:

  • Changed attitude and frequent lateness of an employee
  • Increased stress reaction
  • Changes in lunch and coffee breaks
  • Lessened interaction with other employees
  • More errors in jobs
  • Fallen productivity

Once at least one of the mentioned signs is detected, the manager should keep on an eye on the employee and track his tasks. Task tracking and employee performance analysis become much easer with VIP Task Manager. The software allows to apply key performance indicators to assess employee productivity. The tracking mechanism of VIP Task Manager allows to track tasks in real time, detect how much time the employee spent on a task and then compare the actual time with estimated time.   • Run VIP Task Manager
  • Go to Tools - Custom Fields and create some key performance indicators (KPI) to assess employee productivity
  • Use the 'Actual Time' column and the 'Estimated Time' column to track procrastinations and delays in work
