Use implementation plan to plan tasks better


When you initiate a project, you need an effective tool to create, schedule and prioritize events that will occur step by step during the project. This tool is implementation plan. It is the final step of project planning phase. At the minimum, this plan acts as a checklist with scheduled events and actions, i.e. how tasks and jobs are due to be implemented throughout the project. The project manager often includes costs and expected results in the workforce mngmnt plan. The plan highlights time scales, milestones and actions required to run the project and cover potential shortfalls.

To build a flexible implementation plan and run successful project, you can use VIP Task Manager software. This is convenient solution for task and project management that allows to plan, assign and track tasks and activities. VIP Task Manager allows to make all tasks and jobs within the project clear, realistic and implementable. You can set task priorities, due dates, and permissions to show the resource which tasks are permitted to be performed, their importance and deadlines. VIP Task Manager allows to be realistic about the project progress and deliverables. The project manager can update tasks in implementation plan in real time so all concerned resources will be aware of changes immediately.

Action plan:

  1. Launch VIP Task Manager
  2. In Task Tree View you can create the task group "Implementation plan". This folder may contain checklists, action lists and tasks assigned to project resources
  3. To schedule the tasks, you can use Calendar View
  4. Use Permissions panel to manage resource access and privileges to the folder "Implementation plan"

If you schedule tasks from task list, you can drag'n'drop created tasks to the Scheduler panel.
