It is very important for performance to select the right format of action plan, because different kinds of tasks require different styles and sometimes it is not an easy thing to decide which one from all possible templates is the most suitable solution. There are several main action plan formats, so let's consider them:

  • List

    It is the simplest (and primal) representation of any action plan as an ordered (step-by-step) list of activities. There is no need to have any special means or skills in order to create a simple to-do list – you just need a kind of task management software for business to plan the sequence of your tasks.

  • Table

    It is a more advanced representation of task list. Table it allows describing each task with multiple attributes. Action plan table can be also called "hiararhical todo list" and "spreadsheet".
