Organize customer support service team with task management software

But even with the entire team of customer support professionals business requires a software system to manage tasks and organize the workflow of customer support service.

Whether you have a small company or you are the owner of large business, you can use VIP Task Manager to organize customer support department or just support team. This software is featured task management system that allows to create, assign and manage tasks in fully customizable workflow. The feature Workflow Editor is the way to customize workflow of the customer support service by adding new or editing existing task statuses. VIP Task Manager allows to set priorities to the tasks and plan tasks by their importance and deadlines. The customer support team can register all requests and complains in single client database organized by using task groups. Each team member can be assigned to a group of customers in common workflow so you will be able to control and monitor each request and its status.

Action plan:

  • Launch VIP Task Manager
  • To customize workflow, go to Tools – Custom Workflow. Add/edit statuses in existing workflow or create a new one. For example, it could be 'Customer Support Service' workflow with such task statuses as 'Created', 'Requested', 'Completed', 'Replied', etc.
  • Use task priorities to show importance of customer requests and set up due dates
  • Create client database by using task groups./ For example, in parent task group 'Client' there can be such task groups as 'Client 1', 'Client 2', and so on

If you schedule tasks from task list, you can drag'n'drop created tasks to the Scheduler panel. If you set task start and finish dates and time, you can do this on the Schedule tab of task detail view. Also CentriQS supports "splitting task" into multiple schedule items in case you plan to break task into parts and schedule them at different time and days of the week.
