Step 8. Tracking transportation company tasks

	VIP Task Manager helps to track employee task performance. It allows the transportation company management to get quick information on planned and actually spent time on each task and on each employee. For the employees VIP Task Manager gives capabilities to plan their daily tasks properly. This software plays a very important role in optimizing the time that employees spend to carry out their tasks.
Filtering tasks VIP Task Manager allows to track tasks by all task attributes and fields using Filters Panel. All filter settings can be saved to profile and so be applied again. Filter panel includes four filter groups: Common, by Date, By Resource and Custom Field. Sales agents or Brokers can have a big number of tasks to be performed each day, so they need to filter the most urgent and outstanding tasks. They can use group "By date" in the filter panel.
	Grouping tasks Another way for the transportation company employees to tack tasks is to group them by various columns. These columns are "Status", "Complete", "Due date", "Priority" and custom fields "ETD", "ETA", "Delivery period". For example, Sale agent can use columns:
Priority. Available values: "Lowest", "Low", "Normal", "High", "Highest", "Urgent". Status. It has the following standard task statuses: "Draft", "Created", "In progress", "Canceled", "Completed", "Verified". In Task List view Sale agent can group tasks by these two columns to see urgent tasks for today. The filter setting should be: in group "By date" the filed "Date Ranged" has "Today" value. In addition task tracking can be operated by email. At any changes of tasks VIP Task Manager automatically sends notifications by email to managers of the transportation company. In fact for tracking of task performance manager can even not visit his office workplace - all information will be delivered by e-mail.
