One of the key functions of Client Department is to be an ambassador or a representative for company to manage client relations, both internally and externally. Client Department creates a connecting link between current clients and company. Staff members of Client department strive for not only communicating with existing customers, but also providing new and potential customers with all necessary information and services to satisfy their needs.

Company Representation means a functional obligation that Client Department undertakes in order to keep abreast of customer preferences and needs. Client Department organizes its employees to create and instill a positive image of company in customers’ mind. For this purpose employees should be aware of what current clients and potential customers say (positively vs. negatively) about company and its products. At the same time, staff members of Client Department are not only client service representatives but they can be public relations professionals who assist senior management with elaborating new methods for better customer attitude tracking.

To help Client department undertake the function of Company Representation, VIP Task Manager offers powerful task management tools to organize and manage daily tasks. Duties concerning representation, phone talks, email correspondence and meetings with clients and potential customers can be organized into prioritized and scheduled to-do lists. The department head can use Notifications Panel and Filter Bar of VIP Task Manager to track changes in to-do lists. If the head of Client department needs some assistance with tracking current to-do lists, he can use VIP Task Manager to delegate a part of managerial duties to Client Account Supervisors. At the end of current week or month the department head can collect reports to review completed tasks and pending issues in to-do lists and measure employee performance.
