Performance tracking in IT-company
Each task in VIP Task Manager has such attributes as "estimated time" and "actual time". Comparison of these two fields is very important for task performance analyzing within IT-company, because there are a lot of tasks which duration should be planned. For example field specialist of software department should spend per one on-site software installation and setting up no more than 1 hour.

When specialist is visiting a client he/she calls to IT-company office and office manager set status of such task to "In progress", system records field "Date started", when filed specialist finishing job he/she calls to office again and office manager set task as complete, so system will record field "Date completed". Preset custom field of duration type "actual job duration" will subtract Date Started from Date Completed, so manager will get real task duration that can be entered to field "actual time". Attributes "estimated time" vs. "actual time" (the same as "actual job duration" vs. "estimated time") can be visually compared with a help of Column or  Bar diagrams.

Productivity tracking in IT-company
Personal productivity tracking within IT-company is very important, because IT-company  specialists that often work with multiple clients and departments chiefs need to distribute and balance workloads among IT-specialists rationally. VIP Tasks Manager is software that allows not only collaborate within the team, but to analyze each team member's and each department's productivity. Money calculations, Actual cost vs. Estimated cost in IT-company
Such specialists as programmers or system administrators are paid per hour and field "actual time" is extremely important when it is needed to calculate working hours and earned money. It is necessary to create a field that will multiply value of field "actual time" and value of custom field "money per hour". Some tasks may have estimated and actual costs, so corresponding custom fields can be created. These attributes can be visually compared with a help of Column or Bar diagrams or subtracted in order to obtain task cost difference.
