Activity of a building company always requires a kind of specification for most of the tasks, for example, instructions that manager gives to subordinates to expound them a task, etc. VIP Task Manager allows recording these instructions in the form of notes, in a special section of a task, so employee can easily read it. In the same way, notes section can be used for quick reporting (to write in it short reports that employee should make after execution of certain task) and for saving of various text information that relates to the task (letters, descriptions, addresses etc.).

Building company documents circulation includes a big number of various legal documents, drafts, pictures, estimates, official mails, etc. Today, most of these documents can be made with a help of computers and stored in a form of various file types. Team collaboration within building company requires proper documentation sharing (actually it means file sharing).

VIP Task Manager allows attaching of any files to a task, so these files can be easily opened in one click. For example: legal expert has made a contract which has to be signed up by a client, so he/she attaches file in the format of MS Word to corresponding task and sets task status to Complete. Legal department chief receives notification and opens this file, makes some changes in a text of contract if needed, saves it and change s task status to Approved. Office manager is immediately informed that the contract is ready and prints it out for client.

Sometimes it is necessary to attach documents not as files, but as links to files (links to internet pages or links to files placed in a shared folder somewhere in the LAN). This way is convenient when a file is too big to be attached directly to the database. For this purpose VIP Task Manager allows to create hyperlinks. For example designer has created 3D model of a house, such file can have size more than 100 Mb. It should be stored in a shared folder on designers hard drive, path to this file should be entered in a task as an attachment and users of VIP Task Manager from all the office will be able to open that file by clicking on a link.
