VIP Task Manager allows to customize tasks of the travel agency solution and make the workflow more specific to the agency’s needs by using custom field functionality.

Custom field “Language”
This custom field shows what language the document is to be translated from and into. Usually, translation agency has a list of definite languages into which it is ready to convert. This list can include Spanish, English, German, Russian, Jewish and other languages. In VIP Task Manager the custom field “Language” can be created by using field type “List”. When creating a new task, the translator can select needed language in the drop-down list in the custom field “Language”. If the language list of the translation agency was widened or shortened, the administrator of the corporate database can easily configure the custom field “Language” according to these changes.

Custom field “Translation type”
Usually, translation agencies provide translations of any difficulty and complexity. The customer may place an order on translation of documents and articles which may have specific terms such as medical, economic, technical, religious, or other. The translator should clearly understand what vocabulary and terminology are due to be used in the document translation in order to give adequate translation. For this purpose, in the travel agency solution the manager can create a new custom field “Translation type” and set field type “List”. This custom field will have such predefine values as “Medical”, “Technical”, “Business”, “Religious”, “Scientific”, “Software and IT”, “Legal” and other. This list can be widened depending on the travel agency profile and capabilities.

Custom field “Document type”
One more parameter of the translation is a document type that is the customer may need to get translation of various kinds of documents such as contracts, business correspondence, legal documents, job applications, quotation and other. To do the bets translation and meet the customer expectations, the translator needs to know the document type. In the travel agency database the manager can create a new custom field “Document type” and add such values as “Specification”, “Price-list”, “Agreement”, “Application”, “Correspondence”, “Book”, and other.
